Friday morning it was fuhreezing cold. Amelia was dressed warm because really.......I never know how to dress my kids this time of year!!! I told her to grab a pair of flip flops to put in her backpack in case she got hot.
When I got to school she had already shes everything and was wearing her flip flops. With good reason too because it was 80' outside. It was gorgeous!!!
After lunch we all loaded up in different vehicles and each took a load of kids.
These kids were super excited and my ears were roaring once we got to the pumpkin patch.
First stop was the petting zoo in the barn area.
Then a huge slide caught their eyes and they were gone!!
It was a lot of fun. Once Heather and I distracted the kids at the duck pond (with their teachers) we both took off to the slide. Heather was starting to have 2nd thoughts so I done what any friend would do and gave her a shove.
While waiting for the hayride to the pumpkin patch, they played on the playground and went through the hay tunnel.
Group photo time.
I love that the farmer's dog wanted to be in the picture as well. We kept calling him "Charlie the ranch dog".
Last thing to do was take a trip through the corn maze. Two little girls at the pumpkin patch volunteered to be our tour guide and I think they were messing with me because it took us longer than it should have and we kept going in circles. Ha ha
All too soon it was time to leave. I wanted to stop and get these poor babies some ice water, but we were going to barely make it back in time for pick up.
Josiah's class didn't come this year. I kept missing him because I'm used to him always being there. It's a sign of him growing up on me. I took him to buy a pumpkin so they all would have one to paint later though.
Happy Fall!!
